Park facts visitors ask first

Nairobi National Park is Kenya's first park, gazetted in 1946, 117 km2 of grassland 7 km south of the CBD. Four of the Big Five live here. There are no wild elephants. The usual first visit is a private morning half-day, not a multi-day safari circuit.

Self-drive is legal if you have a car and eCitizen tickets. A saloon car can enter. Viewing from a pop-up safari van or Landcruiser is why people book us. See how to get there for Uber, matatu 24, JKIA, and self-drive.
