How to pay Nairobi National Park fees on KWSPay

Buy the park ticket yourself on KWSPay at kwspay.ecitizen.go.ke, by M-Pesa or card, before the drive. Non-residents pay $80 per adult. Kenya residents pay KSh 1,350. Citizens pay KSh 1,000. Save the confirmation offline in case the gate has weak signal.

Step by step on KWSPay

  1. 1 Confirm your safari date with us first.
  2. 2 Open kwspay.ecitizen.go.ke and sign in or create an eCitizen account.
  3. 3 Choose Nairobi National Park and the date of the drive.
  4. 4 Select the category that matches each passport or ID: citizen, resident, African citizen or non-resident.
  5. 5 Check the total. eCitizen can add a payment charge on top of the published fee.
  6. 6 Pay by M-Pesa or card. Save the screenshot and the reference.
  7. 7 Bring the same document to the gate.

Citizens, residents and non-residents in the same car need separate tickets in their own categories.

Pay the right organisation

Three different payees. A message that asks you to send the park fee to a personal number is not this booking.

Quick answers

What is KWSPay?

KWSPay is the Kenya Wildlife Service payment portal on eCitizen, at kwspay.ecitizen.go.ke. It is where you buy the Nairobi National Park ticket.

Can I pay the park fee in cash at the gate?

Plan on paying online by M-Pesa or card. The gates are cashless. If a notice at the gate says otherwise on the day, follow the ranger.

Do you add a booking fee to the KWS ticket?

No. You pay KWS directly on KWSPay. You pay us only the tour price we confirm.

What if the name on the ticket does not match my passport?

Buy the ticket in the passport name, in the category that matches the document you will show at the gate.
