First time at Nairobi National Park
Book a private morning half-day. Your own vehicle, 05:00 hotel pickup, and the cool hours when animals are most active. $300 (about KSh 39,000) per group (your group only, park fees paid separately).
Expect open grass, the city skyline and a guide on the radio. Giraffe, zebra, buffalo and antelope are regular sightings. Lion and rhino are what the guide hunts for. There are no wild elephants here; for elephants, add the Sheldrick nursery.
